The list of the world’s finest places to visit must include great cities such as New York, Paris, and London, each of which has many unique sites or must-see places to visit.

The list also includes specific sites, monuments, and places worth seeing on their own.

Machu Picchu, Peru

Machu Picchu, located high in Peru’s Andes peaks, is now believed to have been a holy royal retreat for the Incan rulers.

The remote site, which was built in the 15th century AD and dumped less than a century later, resumes amazing with its perfectly joined, mortarless, intricate stonework.

Massive multi-ton stone unions are perfectly bound together without the use of cannon or cement.

The journey to Machu Picchu usually begins in the peak city of Cusco, which served as the Inca Empire’s capital.

Cusco is a charming city to visit, so prepare to spend a few days there before or after your Machu Picchu adventure.

The Grand Canyon, Arizona

This incredible sight, one of the world’s seven natural wonders, is located in the American state of Arizona.

It’s one of those stunning places where photos and videos simply don’t do it justice its sheer size and range are difficult to comprehend.

The geology formed over the last 2B years, yes billion, and the 277-mile-long canyon itself is supposed to have formed around five to 6M years ago.

It was created by the flow of the Colorado River, which always rushes via it and erodes the geology along its way.

The Grand Canyon can be up to 18 leagues wide and a mile deep in places.

Imagine standing on the precipice and looking down a sheer rock face for nearly a mile to the river below.

The South Rim is the most famous destination for visitors.

Several impressive hiking trails into the Grand Canyon begin here, and great overlooks are scattered along the rim road known as Desert View Drive.

There are a variety of accommodations unrestricted here and nearby,  going from tents to a rustic luxury canyon-side resort made of logs.

Maui, Hawaii

This Hawaiian island feeds visitors with a various range of adventures.

Surfing, dining on the beach at a five-star luxury resort in Wailea, horseback riding across a dormant volcano in Haleakala National Park, or hiking through a rainforest in the West Maui Mountains are all options.

The natural view is stunning; it is without suspicion one of the most attractive islands on the planet.

There is something for everyone in spans of lodging, from rural hippie home beds and breakfasts to five-star luxury resorts.

Masai Mara, Kenya

The Masai Mara in Kenya is an amazing bio-diverse area and a popular safari destination.

It’s a chance to see all five of the “big 05” animals (leopard, lion, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo) in one trip or, if you’re blessed, in one noon.

The covered Masai Mara National Reserve park space is vast, containing over 1500 square km of mostly grassland that extends the route to Tanzania’s Serengeti plain.

The best times to visit are during the twice-yearly migrations, which take place in July and August.

Over a million wildebeest and other animals travel in large groups across the area from one feeding area to another.

Most visitors come to Nairobi and then fly to the Mara in a small bush plane.

Montreal, Canada

You might believe you’re in France as you listen to the sound of French being spoken about you and walk down Old Montreal’s narrow cobblestone streets.

The historic district is filled with charming shops and cafés; this Canadian city can provide a taste of Europe in North America.
